Our range of MATCHAU water-filled proof load bags - with capacities from 0.25 ton to 50 tonnes - provides an easy, safe and highly cost effective means of load-testing all kinds of lifting equipment.
Water-filled bags offer a significant advantage over alternative methods in that fluid can be applied gradually and precisely. This means that potential problems can be identified long before maximum load is reached.

There have been several serious accidents during proof load testing involving Sub Standard Equipment which was simply not designed for the physical demands of proof load testing.

At MATCHAU we′ve developed systems specifically to apply a test load to life saving appliances. MATCHAU Lifeboat test bags and proof load bags provide controlled loading and unloading with minimal handling, resulting in minimum downtime.
Lifeboat testing
Our lifeboat system provides a safe, fast, simple and accurate way of proof load testing, with no need for personnel to be in the craft. Loading is achieved with a control manifold and pumping system, and measured by calibrated flowmeter.
Davit testing
For static and dynamic davit testing, MATCHAU water filled proof load bags allow gradual filling so you can spot potential problems before you get into trouble. Water provides 98% of the weight at full load - so empty bags are light and easy to handle, transport and store.
Also we have load measurement for testing, and it is different capacity making accoring to customer′s requirements.
